John Rogan, also known as "The Tallest Man Ever Recorded in History", died on September 12, 1905, at the age of 37. He suffered from gigantism, which caused him to grow to a height of 8 feet, 9 inches. Throughout his life, he faced various health complications, including spine and joint problems that left him immobile. He spent the last years of his life bedridden, and ultimately died of complications from a severe case of bronchitis. He was buried in his family's cemetery in Nashville, Tennessee, where his grave remains a popular attraction to this day.
